BECC-NADB Board of Directors Public Meeting 2016

The Board of Directors of the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC) and the North American Development Bank (NADB) has approved three new environmental infrastructure projects in the water and wastewater sector, representing an estimated total investment of US$28.4 million. These projects, which altogether will receive US$13.3 million in grant funding, will benefit about 35,500 residents in the communities of Nogales, Sonora; Douglas, Arizona; and El Paso, Texas.


2016 NADB BECC Status Report

On November 17, 2016, the Board of Directors for the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC) and the North American Development Bank (NADB) held its semi-annual meeting and reviewed 2016 results for both institutions. BDAN Energías Renovables (Spanish Only)

The North American Development Bank and the Border Environment Cooperation Commission support the development and financing of environmental infrastructure to help preserve, protect and improve the environment and well-being of people residing along the border area between Mexico And the United States. In the renewable energy sector, NADB has supported private companies in both Mexico and the United States with the development and financing of solar and wind infrastructure projects, estimated to displace more than 2.86 million metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year, which is equivalent to the elimination of more than 600 thousand private vehicles.
